In Saturday's non-league match, the Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA) volleyball squad tipped the host Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Mustangs battle the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves (Rocklin, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 4. Argonaut will attempt to better on its 20-7 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Sacramento Country Day (Sacramento, CA).
With the loss, Bear River drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA) to clash with the Fighting Zebras in a bout on Tuesday, October 7. The Fighting Zebras enter the match with a record of 2-5.
