The Del Mar Dons edged the host Branham Bruins volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Dons now have a 15-8 record. They play next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a outing on Tuesday, October 7. Del Mar will play a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 league loss to San Jose (San Jose, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Branham drops to 14-5 on the season. The Bruins travel to Westmont (Campbell, CA) to confront the Warriors in a game on Tuesday, October 7. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 9-5. Westmont won 2-0 in their recent league game against Leigh (San Jose, CA)
