The Del Oro Golden Eagles tipped the visiting West Valley Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 4. Del Oro will attempt to advance on its 11-5 season record. The Thunder enter the match with a 10-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to St. Francis (Sacramento, CA).
The Eagles (25-3) will now prepare for their match against Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Grizzlies enter the match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Lassen nipped Yreka (Yreka, CA), 2-1, in a league bout.
