Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) and the visiting Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL), observed Ridgewood's volleyball team top Northside by a count of 2-0.

The Rebels (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Taft (Chicago, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Taft was knocked off by Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Mustangs battle the Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 4. Northside will attempt to move on its 9-13 season record. The Bison enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL).
