Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Albuquerque Academy improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Chargers travel to Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Vikings in a 4A District 6 outing on Thursday, October 9. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 3-11.

Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a 4A District 2 outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Los Alamos will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Pintos go into the outing with a 3-11 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Bosque (Albuquerque, NM).
