Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Allegany Campers (Cumberland, MD) and the host Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV), saw Allegany's soccer squad triumph over Jefferson by a score of 8-1.

The Campers (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD). The Miners go into the Class 1A West I outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Mountain Ridge was overwhelmed by GVCS Broadfording (Hagerstown, MD), 4-3, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now have a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Mills for a Eastern Panhandle test on Tuesday, October 7. Jefferson will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Washington (Charles Town, WV). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-7.
