In Saturday's non-league contest, the Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME) soccer team routed the host Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME), by a count of 7-0.
Next, the Cougars face the Camden Hills Windjammers (Rockport, ME) in a Class A - North challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Mt. Blue will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Windjammers go into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Greely (Cumberland Center, ME).
With the loss, Belfast moves to 1-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Mount View (Thorndike, ME) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
