The Braxton County Eagles smashed the visiting Bluefield Beavers soccer team by a tally of 10-0 in Saturday's league game.
Next, the Eagles face the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 7. Braxton County will attempt to advance on its 17-0 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 6-7 record after their 0-0 non-league Petersburg (Petersburg, WV).
The Beavers (4-7) will now prepare for their game against James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Mavericks come into the Coalfield AA game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, James Monroe was overwhelmed by PikeView (Princeton, WV), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
