Carroll Patriots (Dayton, OH) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH), 9-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Carroll moves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Chaminade Julienne Catholic (Dayton, OH) to confront the Eagles in a Greater Catholic Coed outing on Tuesday, October 7. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 4-6.

Next up, the Knights confront the Greeneview Rams (Jamestown, OH) in a Ohio Heritage South outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Greenon will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Rams go into the outing with a 5-8 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Springfield (Springfield, OH).
