In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Washington Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Centennial Chargers.
The Panthers (17-1) will now prepare for their outing against Canton (Canton, IL). The Little Giants go into the Mid-Illini outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Canton by Riverdale (Port Byron, IL), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Chargers play the St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 6. Centennial will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Sabers come into the game with a 10-5 record after their 1-1 non-league Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL).
