Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) and the visiting Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), saw Taos's soccer squad triumph over Gallup by a count of 10-0.

The Tigers (10-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes enter the 4A District 2 battle with a 0-14 record. In their last battle, Pojoaque Valley was overwhelmed by St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM), 4-0, in a non-league match.

The Bengals now sport a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aztec for a 4A District 1 match on Tuesday, October 7. Gallup will meet a Tigers team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 2-13.
