The Jacobs Golden Eagles soccer squad (Algonquin, IL), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL)
The Huskies (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Mustangs enter the Mid-Suburban - East battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Rolling Meadows was overwhelmed by Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL), 5-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Golden Eagles battle the Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL) in a Fox Valley battle, on Tuesday, October 7. Jacobs will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 11-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Wauconda (Wauconda, IL).
