The Southern Lehigh Spartans smashed the visiting Jim Thorpe Olympians soccer team by a tally of 6-0 in Saturday's league game.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Salisbury Township Falcons (Allentown, PA) in a Colonial bout, on Tuesday, October 7. Southern Lehigh will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Quakertown (Quakertown, PA).

With the loss, Jim Thorpe moves to 8-7 on the year. The Olympians travel to Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA) to play the Crusaders in a Colonial bout on Monday, October 6. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Notre Dame-Green Pond won 4-0 in their recent league game against Palmerton (Palmerton, PA)
