Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA) and the host Marlborough Panthers (Marlborough, MA), saw St. John's's soccer squad prevail over Marlborough by a count of 5-1.
The Pioneers (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Boston College High (Boston, MA). The Eagles come into the Catholic match with a 6-2 record.
The Panthers now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Groton-Dunstable for a Midland-Wachusett B match on Tuesday, October 7.
