Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Norrix Knights (Kalamazoo, MI), 2-1 in a non-league outing.
The Trojans (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI). The Lancers go into the non-league outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Lakeshore got by Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Knights play the Central Bearcats (Battle Creek, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan - East outing, on Wednesday, October 8. Norrix will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Bearcats go into the outing with a 2-10 record after their 3-3 non-league Hastings (Hastings, MI).
