St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting North Ridgeville Rangers (North Ridgeville, OH), 5-3 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Edward improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Eagles host Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH) to play the Cougars in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 10-1.
Next up, the Rangers play the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (Olmsted Falls, OH) in a Southwestern outing, on Wednesday, October 8. North Ridgeville will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Westlake (Westlake, OH).
