The Albany Warriors softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Lafayette Fighting Irish to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Saturday.

Next, the Warriors meet the Trenton Bulldogs (Trenton, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 6. Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 21-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Putnam County (Unionville, MO).

With the loss, Lafayette moves to 1-5 on the season. The Fighting irish travel to Carrollton (Carrollton, MO) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4.
