Nebraska High School Softball - Yutan-Mead bounces Auburn

October 4, 2025: Yutan, NE 68073

The Yutan-Mead Patriots softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Auburn Bulldogs to 1 in the Patriots non-league win on Saturday.

The Patriots now sport a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. Yutan-Mead will confront a Broncos team coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Freeman (Adams, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 10-17.

With the loss, Auburn moves to 17-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Pioneers go into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Fort Calhoun won 11-3 in their recent league challenge against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE)
