In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Academy of Our Lady Penguins volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons.

The Penguins (21-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars come into the Division II District 8 challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Edna Karr beat St. Katharine Drexel (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Falcons meet the St. Martinville Tigers (St. Martinville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 8. Episcopal of Acadiana will attempt to advance on its 10-6 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 11-12 record after their 3-2 league loss to Rayne (Rayne, LA).
