The Albany Cougars volleyball squad (Albany, CA), was tipped 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Mission San Jose Warriors (Fremont, CA)
The Warriors (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA). The Pride enter the non-league contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Salesian College Preparatory got by Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cougars battle the Saint Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA) in a Tri-County - Rock battle, on Monday, October 6. Albany will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 17-7 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Justin-Siena (Napa, CA).
