The Cardinals (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Novato (Novato, CA). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Novato dropped by San Marin (Novato, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Cougars now own a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mission San Jose for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. Albany will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 12-6.
