In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Kasson-Mantorville Komets volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Alden-Conger Knights.
With the win, Kasson-Mantorville improves its record to 16-6 on the season. The Komets travel to Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, October 4. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 11-6. Dover-Eyota lost 3-1 in their recent league game against Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN)
The Knights (18-6) will now prepare for their game against Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 10-9 record. In their last game, Lewiston-Altura went down by Caledonia (Caledonia, MN), 3-0, in a league outing.
