The Alden-Conger Knights (Alden, MN) volleyball held off the visiting Le Sueur-Henderson Giants (Le Sueur, MN), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Knights now hold a 18-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kasson-Mantorville for a non-league match on Saturday, October 4. Alden-Conger will confront a Komets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Komets record now stands at 11-6.
The Giants (9-15) will now prepare for their match against Nova Classical Academy (St. Paul, MN). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Nova Classical Academy was tipped by Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN), 3-1, in a league match.
