California High School Volleyball - Alisal can't hold off Santa Clara

The Santa Clara Bruins held off the host Alisal Trojans volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bruins now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Monta Vista for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. Santa Clara will clash with a Matadors team coming off a 3-1 league win over Mountain View (Mountain View, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Alisal drops to 9-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Gonzales (Gonzales, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a Pacific Coast - Mission bout on Monday, October 6. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 2-6. Gonzales won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Watsonville (Watsonville, CA)
