Indiana High School Volleyball - Lake Central over Angola

October 4, 2025: St. John, IN 46373

The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the visiting Angola Hornets (Angola, IN), saw Lake Central's volleyball team overcome Angola by a tally of 3-1.

The Indians (17-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Merrillville (Merrillville, IN). The Pirates come into the Duneland challenge with a 8-19 record. In their last challenge, Merrillville was beaten by Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN) in a Northeast Corner challenge, on Monday, October 6. Angola will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Blazers come into the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hicksville (Hicksville, OH).
