The Panthers (22-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 19-4 record. In their last contest, Sayre notched a victory over East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 4. Apollo will attempt to improve on its 20-9 season record. The Fighting Tigers go into the battle with a 18-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Owensboro (Owensboro, KY).
