In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bartram Trail Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Matanzas Pirates.
The Bears (13-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Spruce Creek (Port Orange, FL). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Spruce Creek gained a win over Pine Ridge (Deltona, FL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Matanzas will face a Christians squad coming off a 3-0 league win over San Jose Prep (Jacksonville, FL). The Christians record now stands at 8-10.
