In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Belvidere Bucs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Round Lake Panthers.
The Bucs (5-23) will now prepare for their challenge against Hononegah (Rockton, IL). The Indians come into the Northern Illinois NIC-10 challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Hononegah beat Antioch (Antioch, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Round Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 1-22 season record.
