With the win, Mira Costa improves its record to 19-8 on the season. The Mustangs host Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA) to encounter the Trailblazers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Trailblazers go into the battle with a record of 26-3. Sierra Canyon won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Chaminade (West Hills, CA)

The Knights now own a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Amat for a Del Rey contest on Tuesday, October 7. Bishop Montgomery will meet a Lancers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 29-7.
