The Blake Bears volleyball squad (Minneapolis, MN), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Randolph Rockets (Randolph, MN)

The Rockets (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN). The Knights enter the Gopher challenge with a 18-3 record. In their last challenge, Kenyon-Wanamingo got by New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Providence Academy Lions (Plymouth, MN) in a Independent Metro Athletic test, on Monday, October 6. Blake will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record.
