The Martin County Tigers volleyball squad (Stuart, FL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Braden River Pirates (Bradenton, FL)
The Pirates (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Legacy (Port St. Lucie, FL). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Legacy got by Port St. Lucie (Port St. Lucie, FL), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Tigers meet the Lyman Greyhounds (Longwood, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 4. Martin County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Greyhounds enter the contest with a 7-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL).
