Illinois High School Volleyball - Bureau Valley edged by Kewanee

The Bureau Valley Storm volleyball squad (Manlius, IL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL)

The Boilermakers (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Alleman (Rock Island, IL). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Alleman was tipped by Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Storm meet the Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL) in a Lincoln Trail battle, on Monday, October 6. Bureau Valley will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Rebels go into the battle with a 4-15 record after their 2-1 league loss to Annawan (Annawan, IL).
