With the win, Texas School for the Deaf improves its record to 15-16 on the season. The Rangers host Maryland School for the Deaf (Frederick, MD) to face the Orioles in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Orioles go into the test with a record of 16-5. Next, the Cubs meet the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. California School for the Deaf-Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 15-14 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 2-0 non-league win over California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA).
