October 4, 2025: Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688 Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Santa Margarita improves its record to 16-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to meet the Lions in a Trinity challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 16-12. JSerra Catholic lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)
In their next game, the Patriots face the Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 15-12 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 14-3 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA).
