Central Christian Cougars (Hutchinson, KS) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, KS), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars (14-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Norwich (Norwich, KS). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Norwich was beaten by Argonia (Argonia, KS), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norwich for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Oxford will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Argonia (Argonia, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 9-11.
