Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Central Minnesota Christian Bluejays (Prinsburg, MN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights (22-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Falcons come into the Red Rock challenge with a 4-15 record. In their last challenge, Red Rock Central was nudged by Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bluejays meet the Ortonville Trojans (Ortonville, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Central Minnesota Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN).
