In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Sunset Apollos volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Century Jaguars.

The Apollos (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Southridge (Beaverton, OR). The Skyhawks come into the 6A Metro challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Southridge lost by Beaverton (Beaverton, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars face the Liberty Falcons (Hillsboro, OR) in a 6A Pacific game, on Monday, October 6. Century will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 1-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR).
