Kansas High School Volleyball - Chanute tips Jayhawk Linn

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Chanute Blue Comets volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks.

The Blue Comets (26-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Frontenac (Frontenac, KS). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 14-8 record. In their last test, Frontenac tipped Parsons (Parsons, KS), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Jayhawks now own a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Labette County for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Jayhawk Linn will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Chanute (Chanute, KS). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-15.
