In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Chaparral Roadrunners volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Smoky Valley Vikings.
The Roadrunners (17-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, KS). The Dragons enter the Central Plains challenge with a 5-21 record. In their last challenge, Belle Plaine was beaten by Central Christian Academy (Wichita, KS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Central Christian Academy Lions (Wichita, KS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Smoky Valley will attempt to improve on its 9-16 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 18-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Remington (Whitewater, KS).
