The Chase County Longhorns edged the host Scottsbluff Bearcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Longhorns face the St. Patrick's Irish (North Platte, NE) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 7. Chase County will attempt to advance on its 10-12 season record. The Irish go into the game with a 10-11 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Sutherland (Sutherland, NE).
The Bearcats (14-14) will now prepare for their game against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league outing with a 10-13 record. In their last outing, Bridgeport was nudged by Mitchell (Mitchell, NE), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
