The Coalinga Horned Toads (Coalinga, CA) volleyball held off the visiting Tulare Western Mustangs (Tulare, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Horned Toads now possess a 17-11 record. They play next when they travel to Dos Palos for a West Sierra bout on Tuesday, October 7. Coalinga will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 league win over Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 10-13.
With the loss, Tulare Western drops to 11-15 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Hanford (Hanford, CA) to confront the Bullpups in a West Yosemite match on Monday, October 6. The Bullpups enter the match with a record of 13-10. Hanford won 3-0 in their recent league match against Mission Oak (Tulare, CA)
