In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Maconaquah Braves volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the DeKalb Barons.
The Braves (17-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion (Marion, IN). The Giants enter the non-league test with a 1-21 record. In their last test, Marion was edged by Peru (Peru, IN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Barons now own a 6-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. DeKalb will face a Giants squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Peru (Peru, IN). The Giants record now stands at 1-21.
