In Saturday's non-league bout, the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) volleyball team held off the visiting DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN), by a margin of 2-1.
The Greyhounds now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Cannon Falls for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. New Ulm Cathedral will clash with a Bombers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 11-10.
With the loss, DeLaSalle drops to 11-4 on the campaign. The Islanders host South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN) to battle the Packers in a non-league match on Wednesday, October 15. The Packers enter the match with a record of 10-10.
