The St. James Wildcats topped the visiting East Jefferson Warriors volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Wildcats now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to St. John for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4. St. James will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-11.

With the loss, East Jefferson drops to 9-17 on the campaign. The Warriors host David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4.
