In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Eau Claire North Huskies volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Somerset Spartans.
The Huskies (14-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Eau Claire Memorial (Eau Claire, WI). The Old Abes enter the Big Rivers challenge with a 14-15 record. In their last challenge, Eau Claire Memorial beat Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran (Eau Claire, WI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Osceola Chieftains (Osceola, WI) in a Middle Border test, on Tuesday, October 7. Somerset will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Chieftains go into the test with a 15-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI).
