Illinois High School Volleyball - Eureka can't get by Illinois Valley Central

Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Grey Ghosts (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 12-12 record. In their last test, Princeton was edged by Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now sport a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pekin for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4. Eureka will play a Dragons team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Dragons record now stands at 5-10.
