The Floodwood Polar Bears tipped the visiting Mora Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Polar Bears confront the Aitkin Gobblers (Aitkin, MN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 4. Floodwood will attempt to advance on its 19-4 season record. The Gobblers enter the game with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN).
The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Cloquet (Cloquet, MN). The Lumberjacks enter the non-league game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Cloquet held off Superior (Superior, WI), 3-0, in a league game.
