In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lutheran Northwest Crusaders volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Fraser Ramblers.

The Crusaders (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Seaholm/Groves (Birmingham, MI). The Maples come into the non-league challenge with a 7-11 record. In their last challenge, Seaholm/Groves was nudged by Farmington (Farmington, MI), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Ramblers face the Austin Catholic Crusaders (Chesterfield, MI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 4. Fraser will attempt to advance on its 6-9 season record. The Crusaders go into the game with a 10-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI).
