Michigan High School Volleyball - Freeland tips St. Johns

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) and the host St. Johns Redwings (St. Johns, MI), saw Freeland's volleyball squad nudge St. Johns by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Freeland improves its record to 19-10 on the season. The Falcons travel to Ionia (Ionia, MI) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 19-3. Ionia won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Sexton (Lansing, MI)

The Redwings now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Lansing for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. St. Johns will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Everett (Lansing, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 9-9.
