Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Bears (Porterville, CA) and the host Fresno Warriors (Fresno, CA), observed Summit Charter Collegiate Academy's volleyball team top Fresno by a tally of 2-0.
The Bears (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA). The Titans go into the East Sequoia- Redwood test with a 0-17 record. In their last test, Orange Cove was defeated by Wonderful College Prep Academy (Delano, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 7-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madera South for a CMAC/NYL challenge on Tuesday, October 7. Fresno will meet a Stallions team coming off a 3-0 league win over McLane (Fresno, CA). The Stallions record now stands at 5-21.
